In 2012 Sandhills District Health Department and Clinic (SDHDC) have helped women, children, and men dealing with health issues within Keith, Arthur, Grant, Hooker, and Thomas counties in Nebraska. Because of your generous support, we see that a substantial number of people have been served through SDHDC this year. As you may know, our mission statement is:
Responding Locally to the Health Needs of Our Rural Communities
This year SDHDC assisted over 3,000 adults and children who needed health care or prevention services in our five-county area. These services included:
- Assisting approximately 1000 adults and children through the Public Health Medical Clinic.
- Immunizing 1,160 people through the Vaccine for Children and Adult Immunization program.
- Teaching about 125 people the lifesaving skill of CPR.
- Handing out 100 radon detection kits free of charge.
To continue our vital services, we ask that you send a donation. Your gift to our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization will qualify as a tax-deductible, charitable donation on your 2013 taxes.
